Precision Metal Stamping

Precision Metal Stamping

Metal stamping is a process using coils of various types of metal to produce a precise completed part. Metal stamping uses a wide range of processes within a stamping die to produce a finished part.

Typical manufacturing processes include:

  • Bending
  • Coining
  • Embossing
  • Tapping
  • Welding

This precise automated process reduces labor costs, especially as production volumes increase. This makes metal stamping the method of choice for both small and large volumes of metal parts requiring accurate and cost-effective methods. Many technological advances have been made over the years. 3-D design capabilities have sped up the design process and wire burning of die components has helped to produce quicker manufacturing capabilities and more precise components.
