Precision Metal Stamping
Metal stamping is a fabrication process by which flat sheets of metal are formed or cut into a desired shape using pre-cut dies. Stamping incorporates a variety of techniques, such as punching, blanking, bending, coining, flanging, and more. To ensure accurate stamping, the die is designed using precision computer aided design (CAD) software. Since stampings require a certain amount of clearance, precision dimensions for the dies are particularly important.

Switches and Relays
A switch is defined as a component of an electrical system that establishes, removes, or redirects electrical current by establishing one or more connections in the conductive path within a circuit. Switches may often have numerous contacts that operate in unison, sequentially, or in an alternating fashion. Light switches are perhaps the most common example of a switch, which closes to allow electrical current to flow to the light when on and opens to interrupt the electrical flow and turn the light off. Switches may be operated manually, using a button or lever, or they can operate using pressure, temperature, or sensors to trigger the motion of the switch.
Switches and relays differ slightly. A relay is a specific type of switch that is operated electronically, often using an electromagnet. Relays automate the opening and closing of circuits in complex electrical systems that cannot operate efficiently under manual control. They require very little electricity to operate, and can be used to direct the flow of much stronger power signals.
Electromechanical timers consist of electrical and mechanical components used to start and stop devices at pre-programmed times or intervals. They may be operated through the use of rotating wheels, thermal expansion of metallic components, or an electronically operated motor connected to a cam or gear system.
Thermostats and Controls
Electromechanical thermostats and controls often use rotary timers to program day and night temperature settings. Using a combination of temperature sensors, thermal expansion of metal components, and timers, they are used to control heating and cooling elements to ensure proper environmental temperature.
